Troop Committee & Leaders

The troop committee is made of registered leaders, parents, and other volunteers who work together to ensure scouts are empowered to have a great scouting experience. All parents in the troops are encouraged to participate. The committee works with the Scoutmasters and other leaders to make sure they are well-trained and have all the tools they need for their roles. It also works with the chartering organization representative to provide facilities for meetings and coordinate programs. The committee meets monthly and all parents are welcome to attend. Volunteer Registration

Are you interested in volunteering? First, THANK YOU! Next, to ensure the best and safest program for our scouts, all adult volunteers should register with our unit. The follow steps outline how to do that.

1. Setup Online Account

Before completing registration, you will need to setup an online account with BSA.

⚠️ If you registered your youth online, you may already have an account, just try logging into myScouting.

2. Take Youth Protection Training

Volunteers must take Youth Protection Training (YPT) before registering. YPT plus other position-specific training is available on myScouting. See instructions on how to take the Training here. 

3. Register as Adult Volunteer

⚠️ Note there is a $91 annual fee as an registered adult.
